Taken away in the name of peace
You definitely found that when you deceased

Sometimes we have to sacrifice the ones we love
For there is a greater reward for them in heaven above

The nation will always remember who you were
We know your souls were greeted by angels at heavens door

Although we think its not fair that some had to die
We will always remember your courage, sweet heroes of our time

Buried in the land that you vowed to protect
Your dedication and bravery we will never forget
