Uncertain of their purpose

With no hope for the future

The children suffer

Void of a strong foundation

No clear direction to follow

The children suffer

Too much seen at an early age

With too many choices to make

The children suffer

Never appreciating what they have

Never learning how not to have

The children suffer

With no real fear in their heart

And lack of appreciation for life

The children suffer

With no one good to believe in

No parental figure they want to be

The children suffer

Because we are weaker

The children suffer

The time has come to

Ingrain the children with the same

Values, Beliefs, Hopes and Constraints

Our parents and guardians bestowed on us

Then maybe they will wander no more
