I think about years gone by

Simple times of youth,

Innocence and indiscretion

I Take Pen To Paper

I think about time passing

Life forever changing but...

Not ever recognizing so

I Take Pen To Paper

I think about family and friends

Once close, now gone

By choice, by circumstance, by death

I Take Pen To Paper

I constantly try to remember

The laughter, the tears

The people and times that were my life

I Take Pen To Paper

And I write...

So that my memory

And therefore my life... never fades
