Your Words

The Insight, Impact & Inspiration
That Inspires Us...

Of all the sections on SomethingToShare.com, this is one of our absolute favorites. For this is the place where so many or our friends and extended family members so richly honor the site and our efforts by speaking out - and sharing their heartfelt feelings, experiences, insights, setbacks, growth and their inspired will to overcome... This is the place where motivational thoughts are share about the site, our mission to help people realize the importance of time, their intended purpose and each of our inherent ability to be happier, more fulfilled - and to make an impact in this world. This is the place where we are reminded about the meaningful impact that SomethingToShare.com has generated... and continues to foster in the good people's lives honor us by spending valuable time out of their lives here, each and every day.

You see, the reality is... Sometimes it's not always easy to keep the faith and simply keep pressing forward. Sometimes, as in life, some of the negativity we come across in our efforts can momentarily cause us to question the value of our laborious efforts - and to what extent anyone on the receiving end is influenced or, for that matter, even cares. So, it's the stream of insights and experiences shared here that helped to keep us moving forward, focused and committed to our goal to make a difference in the world. In the end, this is the first place we find our way to when we need to be reminded of the relevance... when we need a bit of an attitude adjustment... for those rare instances when inspiration isn't in the greatest of supply.

And about the most humbling and inspirational of all thus far is the one which, for effect, exactly as received we've chosen to display here;

i am a terminal cancer patient and your site is not from anyone but you and your writers and of corse the the owner GOD!!!he leads all of your hands and minds.i can know when i awake on a unexpected morning your site will be there pr to some unknown unforseen problem.if GOD would allow us to take one mechanical thing to heaven it would be my 10 yr old computer and your site.also you hare.i admit once in a while i ccopy a page for our support group!!how THEY are blessed as youknow are rewards are tenfold.wonder who writs the poems in heaven and sends them to the hands of your writers.god bless all of you!!

To this one, the many heartwarming others and any words of wisdom you should be inspired to share during your visit this day... we can only say thank you very much and keep them coming. The spirit that is SomethingToShare lives another day...

Be forever inspired...

Regarding PassagesOfTime (Baby)...

This poem hit me so hard because my best friend had a miscarriage not to long ago - and how can you love someone so much that you haven't even met yet? This poem was very powerful.

Regarding TheInnerSelf (Too Late)...

Yes, I cried coz I lost my father on Dec 16,2008. It was so unexpected, everything right from his paralysis attack to his death. The reasons remain unknown. I think even I have not done what I could have. The guilt is still in him and I still don't have the guts to share it with anyone until now. I am sharing this with you my friend. My story is so similar to yours. I loved my Daddy but didn't ever tell him how much. The guilt will never ever go I know...

I wish there was an inspiring poem for a young woman who tragically lost her disabled mom in an accident. Her mom is now out of pain but the daughter wishes more then anything that she had spent more time with her mom as they were starting to finally get close.

Regarding TheInnerSelf (The Event)...

Yes... Everything except for the death part happened to my mom last January. She was so close to death, we were told she was not going to make it and she was given her last rights... I prayed and prayed and said that she can't go, she is the only one in the world who tells me that she loves me. Then I felt this almost weird supernatural spirit telling me that she will not be taken away... Miraculously she pulled through... I got a second chance with my Mom.

I have lost my Mom recently and looking for inspiration, and guidance for my sister who feels that if someone tries hard enough they can live no matter what the reason for them to succumb to death. Like they are leaving this earth because they want to.

I lost my 25 yr. old son very tragically one year ago. He was not just my son, but also one of my best friends. This poem made me cry. I feel it's what Chris would want to tell me.

Yes I was inspired. It helped me a lot to understand what's really important in life and to have the ones that truly care about you and the ones you really love. And I thought these really inspired me to see what the most important things are.

I love this site. My best friend has lost 2 very close people in a very short amount of time and my heart aches for her. I like to come here and see how other people have responded with their own stories, poems, quotes, just so I can have a better understanding of what I can say to her or how I can help mend her heart a little quicker. - KLD

Regarding TheInnerSelf (Meantime Blues)...

I can also feel what the lady is going through. Its true we can never see His big plan, but its also difficult at the same time to keep the patience. It seems that the time is skipping out of hands like sand, and you just can not do anything with that . If we try to hold our hand tight the sand will skip even faster but with pain and if we keep the palm open it will also get down. I am 24 and feels the same. I feel as if I am sinking somewhere as I can not find a single reason why I am not finding my soul mate while the others even not better than me are getting away with their beloved ones so easily. Why the life is going so hard for me? I used to have strong faith in God. Now its shaking yet sometimes I feel that God is taking His time to make the one made for me so capable that the special one can make my life eternally blissful.

I believe that Life always has three answers its question 1. If your life says 'yes' it gives you what you wished for . 2. If it says 'No' it wants to give you even better. 3. If it says 'wait' , then it wants to give you the BEST. So its better to have some patience and let the God trust us that yes my dear God , I still believe you that you can equally feel my pain and would not let me suffer any more. Thank you God for being with me (with a candle) even when I am weeping in the dark room of loneliness.

Your stories are great. In fact in meantime blues I felt as if someone has just expressed my state of mind. I am touched with the story I would have been more happy if the story would have ended on a happy note but we all know life is like that - it really does not work on our timeframes. So may God give us strength to stand by tides of life with faith.
